David Bradley, P.E., MBA
Professional Engineer
David has been a practicing engineer for 35 years. He holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
In 2001, David and Isabel started Bradley Engineering. For 22 years, Bradley Engineering has been serving Whatcom, Skagit, San Juan, Snohomish, and King Counties with their structural needs in a variety of applications: residential, multi-family, small retail businesses, manufacturing, industrial, wood-framed construction, steel fabrication, solar panel installations, retaining walls, and other applications. Our clients include home-owners, designers, architects, contractors, business owners, business managers, and nonprofit’s.
His areas of expertise include structural engineering on buildings and equipment. This includes virtually all wood-framed, steel, and concrete construction. David also has expertise in seismic retrofit of existing buildings.
He previously worked at Boeing Commercial Airplane Company for 9 years and then as a project engineer at Alcoa Intalco Works for 5 years.
David prides himself on being practical, cost-effective, and simple. Sometimes this requires stepping back and figuring out a completely different way and sometimes this simply involves going along with the design and configuration that is presented to us.
David serves as a member of the Whatcom Emergency Management Team and in the event of a local seismic or other emergency will be called on to evaluate the safety of structures to determine if they are safe for occupancy. David’s approach to all of his clients and relationships is one of respect and friendship.
